ATTENTION! On Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, all Wyoming County Schools will participate in a Mandatory Countywide Lockdown/Shelter in place drill. The Lockdown/Shelter in place shall be held between 9-9:30am Tuesday morning. It’s mandatory that all school personnel participate in the drill. THIS IS ONLY A DRILL! The goal of the drill is preparedness to keep our students and staff safe under any circumstances. We love our children! We love our school employees! We pray this preparedness is never needed.♥️

Today at Huff Consolidated, a situation arose involving a pedestrian walking along the road by our school. Out of an abundance of caution, we placed the school on lockdown to allow time for an investigation and law enforcement to do a safety check. We will remain on lockdown until law enforcement gives us the all clear. The safety and wellbeing of our students and staff will always remain a priority, therefore we will always do everything in our power to ensure the safety of our school. We Are Crew! Mr. Endicott

Pre-K was visited by special guests on Friday at Huff. The Grinch, Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 &2, and the fish read them a Dr. Seuss story. Then, Dr. Lori Jackson, author of Penelope Pup and the Pancake Breakfast, visited with the real life Penelope Pup to read her book.
